Sea Shell Jandals
This collection was created initially for a repeating surface pattern design, where I hand drew the shells in black pen and then painted them with watercolours. I have always loved the smooth flowing organic shapes of shells and I actually used shells as part of my high school art portfolio waaaaay back in the day.
The colour palette evolved organically, inspired by the shells themselves and became one of my favorite elements of the design.
I love how this artwork turned out, so I have used it on a bunch of beautiful things.
