Foote Steps Dance Studio Logo & Branding
In 2024, I worked with Jennifer Pearce to create the brand identity for her new venture, Foote Steps Dance Studio. Jennifer wanted a logo, brand elements, and business card featuring her chosen colour – purple. My goal was to design a vibrant, welcoming identity that reflects the energy and creativity of her dance studio.
To create a truly personal logo, I developed the two dancers icon by using photos of Jennifer and her partner dancing. I carefully studied their movements and poses to capture the fluidity and grace of dance. This approach gave the logo a unique, authentic feel that connects directly to the studio’s spirit.
I combined this icon with flowing lines and a modern typeface to convey motion and elegance. The purple colour adds vibrancy while maintaining warmth and approachability. Alongside the logo, I designed complementary brand elements and a business card that carry the same energy and style.
The business card features subtle dance-inspired graphics and the signature purple, making it memorable and professional. I also provided Jennifer with digital assets and brand guidelines to ensure consistent use across all her marketing materials.
Working on Foote Steps Dance Studio was rewarding. I’m proud to have helped Jennifer launch her studio with a brand identity that truly reflects her passion for dance and her commitment to her students.
